The progress of filming our movie opener has been both exciting and challenging. From the initial planning stages to the actual production, every step has been a learning experience. We started with brainstorming sessions to develop the concept and storyline, outlining the key scenes and characters that would shape our opener.

As we moved into the filming phase, we encountered many hurdles, such as scheduling conflicts and weather issues. Despite these challenges, we remained committed to bringing our vision to life and adapted our plans accordingly. We carefully selected filming locations that not only fit our story but also provided the necessary support, such as Amanda's house and a local park.

During the filming process, we focused on capturing performances from our actress (Amanda and I) and paying attention to detail in each shot. We experimented with different camera angles and lighting techniques to enhance the visual storytelling and create a cohesive look for our movie opener. Throughout the filming sessions, we maintained open communication and collaborated closely to ensure that our creative vision was being created effectively.

While there were moments of frustration and setbacks, each day of filming brought us closer to achieving our goals. We celebrated small victories and learned from our mistakes, striving to improve. Overall, the progress of filming our movie opener has been a  journey of creativity, collaboration, and growth, and we're excited to see the final result come together in post-production.

Camera Shots and Angles

Hello again! In this blog post I will be showing five clips of different camera shots and angles. I used five different ones to show a variety of emotion, setting, and stories. Since I am still practicing they may not be perfect BUT that is more than okay! With practice comes perfection :) Enjoy the clips!  In this clip, I was trying to achieve a close-up shot to show the emotion in the eyes.  With this clip, I used an establishing shot. The purpose of this was to show where my setting is and how it looks like. Also, how it affects the other clips and provides a portion of the time it was shot.  In this clip, I used a high angle shot to establish what the actor was doing and for the watcher to get an idea of what might come next.  I used a point of view shot (POV) to show the actors viewpoint of an action they were doing.  I used a dutch angle shot to portray disorientation that the actor is going through.

Movie Analysis

Hello everyone! I was watching my favorite show "Friends" and decided to analyze an episode called "The one with all the thanksgivings" if you have not seen the show yet, I highly recommend you do! I put five screenshots of scenes from the episode and analyzed the different angles and camera shots.  This is a medium shot and a two shot. In this scene, Chandler and Ross are washing the dishes and discussing what they will be doing after thanksgiving dinner. This scene affects the story because Chandler makes a rude comment about Monica that leads to the climax of the episode. It also shows their body language and can tell they have been friends for a long time. They also look relaxed and comfortable with one another.
