Borrowing Equipment from Beacon TV!

For our upcoming short film project, we've decided to borrow some essential equipment from BECON TV to ensure professional quality in our production. Firstly, we'll be acquiring a high-definition camera rig, possibly a model from their latest inventory, such as a Canon EOS C300 or a Sony FS7. These cameras offer superb image quality, flexibility in shooting options, and compatibility with various lenses, allowing us to capture our scenes with the visual clarity and depth necessary for our narrative. Smooth and steady camera movement adds polish to our cinematography, enhancing the overall viewing experience. We'll be borrowing tripods and stabilizers from BECON TV to achieve professional-grade stability in our shots, whether we're filming static scenes or dynamic tracking shots. To achieve the desired visual aesthetics and focal lengths for different shots, we'll be borrowing a set of premium lenses from BECON TV. These lenses allow for creative flexibility, whether we're shooting wide landscapes, intimate close-ups, or dynamic action sequences.


Additionally, we'll be borrowing a set of professional-grade audio recording equipment, including shotgun microphones, lapel mics, and a portable audio recorder. Clean and crisp audio is crucial for conveying dialogue and capturing ambient sounds effectively. With BECON TV's equipment, we can ensure that every word spoken and every background noise is captured with precision, enhancing the overall immersion and impact of our short film. By utilizing these top-notch tools, we aim to elevate the production value of our project and deliver a compelling cinematic experience to our audience. Camera Shots and Angles

Hello again! In this blog post I will be showing five clips of different camera shots and angles. I used five different ones to show a variety of emotion, setting, and stories. Since I am still practicing they may not be perfect BUT that is more than okay! With practice comes perfection :) Enjoy the clips!  In this clip, I was trying to achieve a close-up shot to show the emotion in the eyes.  With this clip, I used an establishing shot. The purpose of this was to show where my setting is and how it looks like. Also, how it affects the other clips and provides a portion of the time it was shot.  In this clip, I used a high angle shot to establish what the actor was doing and for the watcher to get an idea of what might come next.  I used a point of view shot (POV) to show the actors viewpoint of an action they were doing.  I used a dutch angle shot to portray disorientation that the actor is going through.

Movie Analysis

Hello everyone! I was watching my favorite show "Friends" and decided to analyze an episode called "The one with all the thanksgivings" if you have not seen the show yet, I highly recommend you do! I put five screenshots of scenes from the episode and analyzed the different angles and camera shots.  This is a medium shot and a two shot. In this scene, Chandler and Ross are washing the dishes and discussing what they will be doing after thanksgiving dinner. This scene affects the story because Chandler makes a rude comment about Monica that leads to the climax of the episode. It also shows their body language and can tell they have been friends for a long time. They also look relaxed and comfortable with one another.
