HELLO!! Long time no blog! Today I will be discussing who I chose to work with and why.  I decided to work with Amanda. She brings a crazy amount of creativity and a keen eye for detail to the project. With her knowledge in design and a natural flair for visual storytelling, she is an amazing person to work with for our media studies project. Her dedication to exploring unique perspectives and her ability to easily blend artistic elements with analytical insights make her an ideal partner for this project. In selecting amanda, I aimed to create a productive team with complementary skills, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality outcome for our AICE Media Studies project. Each of us have unique strengths contribute to the overall success of our collaborative efforts. I am very eager to start working and creating a good movie!

Storyboard!

Hello Everyone! Today I will talk about storyboarding!  Storyboarding is a tool in the world of visual storytelling, acting as a crucial blueprint that guides filmmakers, animators, and other creative minds in bringing their narratives to life. Through my exploration of this art form, I've come to appreciate the balance between creativity and structure that storyboarding demands. Storyboarding is the process of visually planning a narrative, breaking it down into a sequence of individual shots or frames. What I find most compelling about storyboarding is its ability to serve as a visual script, showing a preview of the final product before production begins. mis-en-scene: Friends!!

Image
Hello viewers! I recently learned what mis-en-scene is and I decided to create a post disecting an episode from Friends. Mis-en-scene means "to put in the scene" which is everything the audience can see on screen.  In this scene, you can see Joey, Chandler, and Ross wearing casual clothes. Joey is wearing Jeans and a shirt with a flannel which can show he is comfortable and is dressing casual for the day. It also shows he is not rich or has a lot of money since the clothes could be second hand or from less expensive stores Chandler is wearing slacks and a sweater which can indicate he had gone somewhere like a restaurant or the grocery store beforehand. Ross is wearing corduroy pants with a sweater which can demonstrate he is more proper and upper class. Even though he is just at Monica's apartment he still dressed nicely and proper. Monica and Rachel are also wearing casual clothes. Monica's sweater and sweatpants shows it is probably a Saturday or Sunday and she is...

Mood Board :)

Hi everyone! Thanks for coming back and reading my blog. Today I will talk about a mood board I made about the amazing movie Twilight. This movie is about a teenage girl named Bella who moves into a town called Forks in Washington. She moves in with her dad and the town is dark, gloomy, and most of all rainy.  It feels eerie and mysterious. She meets a loner named Edward who turns out to be a vampire. Since their love is forbidden, it comes with challenges and adventures they go through together.  This movie has a feeling of curiousness, mystery, excitement, and thrilling. Within the movie, you slowly understand why Edward can't be with Bella. Of course, it is movie so they do not care and end up together anyway. This leads to other dangerous vampires finding out. Therefore, this causes a problem and leads to the climax of the movie when they fight off the other vampires saving Bella's life. The thrill of seeing them fight and not knowing if Bella was going to make it ou...
